A Snob Poem by V Neelakandaru Bhattathiri

A Snob

Have you seen him? the fellow,
Who claims to be great,
Though he is foolish 'blank'.

But you cannot escape him
When he sees you by chance
He comes to you with hollow words.

He may talk you down,
With his false knowledge of things,
Making you laugh at him.

He may never tell anything
That is of any use to man,
But he utters words hollow
Revealing his unfeeling heart.
