A Simple Chance To Breathe
A deep breath in
a years worth
punctuated by brief
far too brief
inadequate out breaths
Has been relieved
by a four week outward surge
The tied is in recede
The worm has turned
as it always does
And happiness has returned
as if by stealth
To rule my heart again
