A Simple But Omen Filled Day In Maynooth Poem by Kevin John Mangan

A Simple But Omen Filled Day In Maynooth

Rating: 5.0

Through the flu of the chimney
came the cackle of a crow in the
morning,
coming home past the pastures
crested in mist a cow moaned(died)
loudly in the night,
on the doorstep lay a half eaten
field-mouse in full rigor in the gray
of the twilight.
