A Shrinking Culture Poem by Matt Starking

A Shrinking Culture

Rating: 1.0

The forest was shrinking
But the trees kept
Voting for the axe
For the axe was cleaver
And convinced the trees
That because his handle
Was made of wood
He was one of them
And they bought his story
And they believed him
But the time the trees realized
The axe has destroyed them all
