A Set Of Principles Poem by Laquory Jones

A Set Of Principles

Living by a set of Principles set by Elites of America
While they feed us bull crap material led by the media
While they set their standards and criteria
Destroying the world we once knew in mass hysteria
Controlling the masses by the means of the public
As they trickle down our economy by robbing you
And robbing me cutting funds for our colleges
Robbing us of basic knowledge people having problems
And still can never solve them slaving as we're working
And can barely afford furniture for our cottages

They've burnt our encyclopedias because deep down
They're envious because they know there is no end to us
My penmanship is bound to strike as the lightning struck
The burning bush now emotions rush we're too far for
Touch that's why we can't get over much my words I hold
As clutch because society told us such they strike the
Souls whose talking much because they speak from what's
In the conscience the things they've taught us to do
Daily but the moment we talk they call us insane or crazy

Which one is it lady because your insults doesn't phase me
While eating table scraps on the daily feet hurt from
Taking trolleys people dying because they're too exhausted
My poems aren't getting darker it's just things I'm
Witnessing and no one has the answers people shedding tears
For America as it seems the gov't has lost its way
How much blood will be shed today for us to have peace
Oh hey have I hit another nerve I'm not salty lady
Just saying love has to come first so leave your bitter
Words and have the decent urge to put the people first
Because that's what diplomacy is
Now go comment on this and leave your opinions
