A Score Of Broken Bones Poem by Ede Matthew

A Score Of Broken Bones

A bucket bitter water,
A score of sweet flower.
A mountain top,
A grocery shop.

The odour of the scenting flower,
Overshadows the stains of the punctured petal.
To the ignorant, Martyr
To clairaudients, foolish foul.

If learning is a continuous process
then errors can surely be averted.
Now temerity hinders this success
Again, mistakes cannot be prevented.

I forbid a vindication,
I permit freelancing
I remain steadfast for correction
I must say ''now you have seen''
