A Runaway Poem by mona martinez

A Runaway

Rating: 2.4

i'm overwelmed,
problem rising one after another,
i want to run,
but there's nowhere to run to,

on my back,
is my load of problems,
i just want to forget about,
but, don't know how,

nothing seems to work,
the more i run,
the more i'm fed up with life,
for playing me this way,

stealing away my happiness,
that just seems to build,
with anger and frustration,
i can no longer control,

it's giving temptation a go,
to try and run,
away from all of my problems,
but in return,

will i leave anger and broken hearts,
for a selfish move,
i could never take back,
i guess it's time,

to just stop running,
and just face,
everything life has to offer.
