A Romantic Touch Poem by Ikechukwu Paul

A Romantic Touch

When I got into it, was terreble
A succulent hand indeed
I only observed it that way
and can't remember exactly, I just felt it,
the presence alone, heaven is come
just the palm deal, the mind changed
and the mouth withdrew to good
what a holy and angelic touch
that the breeze passing by admires
just an ordinary touch
the body freezes and sleeps
like fainting soul, though it be
excitement and happiness come
morning joy runs down like a stream
coming forth from a parthway
what a wonderful touch
that the body chilled and calmed
the mouth domb and tongue tide
how I wish it takes all my days of immortality
I shall be glad for another touch.
