A Revenge Poem by Sameer Agnihotri

A Revenge

Rating: 4.5

I am a seven-letter word,
I born long before, my origin is unknown;
I am there in everybody, so do not agitate me;
I am very dangerous, I have destroyed reigns,
I dwell in every mortal, live with it;
When my host hurts, I am now active;
I am small but changes brought are mammoth,
I break every shackle that tries to bind;
I am not a thing, nor a thought,
Of what form I am, nobody knows;
I make hope to come to reality;
I am the biggest reformer of society, responsible for destruction of evil, resulting in humane society;
Afraid me not, I cannot effect thee until I am suppressed;
I dwelt, I dwell and I will dwell in every individual upon this earth.

A good piece of poetry, insightfully penned with conviction. Revenge, an ugly emotion that displays the potential for evil contained in human beings. Forgiveness is by far a more fulfilling emotion than revenge, it's an attribute of the strong and not the weak. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. ➕9
