Only to day
will you remember me
only to day will i stain you memory
like tear drops that fall and leave tracks showing where they've been
leaving tracks for the tears that follow
and tomorrow
huh,
i know will feel hollow
filled full of nothing
nothing that matters
because yesterday i poured myself out of your life
leaving only a residue of what i could not take with me
MEMORIES
and today you'll remember
that if i had been here
tomorrow would not be empty of me
like a heart that doesn't have love to cast a shadow
even if you tried to clean off the memories
my residue is permanent
