A Rainbow For You Poem by MARY PAGDATI

A Rainbow For You

Rating: 5.0

Our future holds many secrets along the paths of life,
Like people who will shed their passions, their hearts and strife.
My son Dafnis, will always be an oyster pearl deep in my heart,
As he is to you, your love, your life, ‘till death do us part'.

I thank you for the happiness you bring to him daily,
The joy in his heart that you have shone;
And pray to the Lord you will honour each other,
And you will forever be the prize that you have both won.

I pray for togetherness, blessings in every way,
That hand-in-hand, you will share the comings of each new day;
For love to grow there must be sunshine, and rainy days too,
But through it all there will always be a rainbow for you!

Dear Tony, thank you very much for taking the time to read my poem and write such heart-felt comments. This poem meant a great deal to me when I penned these words to paper. They were truly inspired through my love for Jesus, at a very troublesome time in my life. God bless!
