A Poem For The Arctic Poem by Alexander Kriticos

A Poem For The Arctic

Rating: 5.0

As the Orca's soar, and the whales dive;
The drills go thump, thump, thump, and the oil thrives.
As the CEOs plan, and the workers rest;
The foxes wake for a hunt; and the Eagles nest.
As the Polar Bears trek, and the hares tunnel;
The petrol station pumps, and the cars guzzle.
As the auk dives in the cold blue, it shall not find a sardine, nor a tuna for two.
No salmon, no trout and no herring, for what it will find… is up to you.
