A Place In This World Poem by Ela Pierce

I'm just a girl trying to find a place in this world,
Sometimes I think to myself that I am not enough,
I am not the most beautiful girl by a long shot,
I am not always honest and I sometimes hide my true feelings,
I can get frightened and I worry a lot,
But if you are patient with me,
I might just be alright,
I will always love you no matter what,
I can hold a grudge but I can also see when something is not worth it,
I can get angry but I will mostly be at myself it doesn't mean you did something wrong,
I am just a girl trying to find a place this world,
So ill make mistakes and Ill lie a little along the way,
But ill learn my lessons I need in life,
And they will carry me through until I find you,
The one who can help me see I already have a place here in this world.
