A/Nxiety Poem by Vester Crowley Ix

A/Nxiety

I waited there
For you to show me care
With a red rose in my hand
That you'll take me to your land
I waited hours and the petals began to wither
My doubt began to slither
When will you come?
I am feeling so numb
I died for you
I sacrificed for you
Where are you now?
With tears under my brow
I let my rose fall
And ignored patience the call
You're my love
I never wanted to be a dove
Why? Why? Why? Why?
That you left me to cry
