A Night At The Beach Poem by Bryce Edward Coast

A Night At The Beach

At stars, I stare
Bonfires glare
Winds whisper through my hair
The night, so fair
Great laughs, we share
Live music teems the air

Toes swim the sand
My lungs expand
Her hand within my hand
The view is grand
From where I stand
Folks festive on the land

Beach volleyball;
Girls win, guys fall
Not even close to call
One little squall
Led to a brawl
But soon, that all would stall

Sea ferries tour
Just off the shore
Adorned bright decor
A dazzling sight
You can't ignore
Best hangout spot
For sure

No other place
I'd rather be
Why sit at home,
Watch 'SADtv'...
Over the waves
We scamper free
Enjoying nighttime's revelry
