A New Dawning Poem by Lee Linc Stallings

A New Dawning

In order for an eagle to soar,
It must first, spread its wings.
In order for the sun to set,
It must first, rise.
In order for us to start anew,
We must first, put aside the old.
In order for us to remember,
We must first never forget.
