Smile
My child
See through those twinkling eyes
Just feel what I already know
You are loved
Immeasurably so

Skip my child,
Go as far as you can
Let those little feet take the leap
Just skip my child and go along

Laugh my love
Laugh aloud
Close your eyes don't care about the crowd

Love my dear
Love all you can
It may sting, well so what
In time it will heal
So just open your heart and let it steer

Have faith and pray my little one
Sometimes this alone
Will let you carry on
So never rest without a thankful prayer

Give, my darling child
Even when you don't have enough
Just know, giving is never enough

Be kind my deepest breath
Take every step with utmost care
Remember, some day you may turn around
And you want that bridge still right there

So go out and sing your song
Paint the skies and dance along
Life is yours
But know
Living is an honor
And you live
Not alone But for all
