A Mother's Love Poem by Angel Jordan

A Mother's Love

You're the best,
I always knew.
Giving me tests,
Pulling me through.

I have your fire,
and attitiude in my step.
In my eyes the desire,
the passion you kept.

I have that smile,
and the swing in my hips.
I have your style,
and big pouty lips.

You gave me my life,
and gave me my way.
You taught me strife;
the words that I say.

I'm happy at the years,
and glad for the fights.
Elated by the tears,
and missing the late nights.

Thanks for all the time,
and every working moment.
Thanks for the lines,
that kept me within the warrant.

Happy Mother's day,
and all the days between.
I love you for leading my way,
and and hleping me redeem.

Mom, I love you for everything you have and will ever do for me. Thank you for being there to take my hand when I couldn't see my fingers. I love you!
