A Morning Cleanse Poem by Jeff Wrubel

A Morning Cleanse

Rating: 5.0

When we fall into bed with a heart full of lead
Shining mind now a tomb projected onto the moon
Dream theater a thread tying off the day's end
Mind tide and typhoon wash away the blue gloom
We can rise from the bed with sun in our head
And eyes fresh from the womb watch a new morning bloom
