To Be A Ghost Poem by Jeff Wrubel

To Be A Ghost

Rating: 5.0

To dream without sleeping
and scar without healing
Exist through the memories
and remember a feeling

Faint trails of hoping
windswept remnants of spirit
A scream without coping
and no soul will hear it

Act a pantomime
a play no one's attending
Become unstuck from time
while waiting for no ending
