A Monkey And Me Poem by Gregory Huyette

A Monkey And Me

I viewed a monkey scale a tree.
See why he's so different from me.

While up there he was eating his lunch.
Eying some fruit he grabbed a bunch.

As I watched him carefully feed
He ate no more than he'd need.

Swinging through trees maintains his shape
Resulting in a healthy, good looking ape.

So it's obvious, as any can see…
A monkey is very different from me.
