A Moment’s Bliss Poem by Stacey Gibbs

A Moment’s Bliss

Rating: 3.0

Do you feel the same way
that I feel about you
I get butterflies in my stomach
when we talk or when I just think of you
I dream of your arms
wrapped around me
I think of us
walking down the street, holding hands
I see us outside playing in the leaves of fall
with you brushing back my hair
You lean in to kiss me
we bump our heads and laugh
I see us on a hill
playing in the snow
You’re building a snowman
I slip on a sled and you catch me as I tumble into your snowman
You end up kissing me
I grab some snow and put it in your face
You’re laughing
I’m falling harder for you
I think of you
every spare moment I have
I want to look in your eyes
seeing all your emotions
To hear you say, “I love you”
is a moment’s bliss
