Depression: Sonnet 8 Poem by Stacey Gibbs

Depression: Sonnet 8

Rating: 2.5

Shocks of pain
shiver through this old human form
Dying in vain
Life turned into a desert storm
Slowly losing all life
due to a lifelong fight
Went through too much strife
Crying out in the night
Lost a friend or two
Didn't see anything wrong
No one knew
So tired of singing this same old song
You can only see the imprint of the impression
But not really see the face of depression

There's a lot of emotion in this poem and I liked it. A good piece of work. Keep smiling and keep writing, Robert
