A Moment On A Dusky Path Poem by James Long II

A Moment On A Dusky Path

Ever further, to me she bade
Into a land I'd never made
Where they spoke in words I could not see
And soon the path was lost to me
I've wandered for a time and long
And know not where my steps went wrong
This labyrinth, lovely dark and deep
Forbids the sun and peaceful sleep
