A Model Man In Eves' Minds Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

A Model Man In Eves' Minds

Her smiles once elated him but now he is scared.
He was lured to enjoy life but he recoils now
as he sees her. Heavenly face once he saw
but now her moving lips show a hypocrite.
A goddess once to revive, cheer and rekindle
fears him now as a witch with claws to tear
and hooked teeth to unsettle and assault.
She was to him a cuckoo and peacock once
but now all the evil things embedded fairy!

A marvelous rose which gave him mental repose
begins to hurt him with her eerie silence.
A hero was once to her with beaming smiles
but now without luster stands a zero.
Being strung-up, he struggles to beat a retreat
but she wants him around her in public.
He scorns to earn a bad name in minds good
but she is careless of bad or good names.
