A Mind Made Up Poem by Judah Daniel

A Mind Made Up

Choice so strong not yielding,
So stringent, too unbending,
and my flesh so unwilling.
Nothing else could break through it,
I've made a choice and nothing can distort it.

The next page is turned,
short tussle by the flesh in return,
Faith driven, destiny driven and Love driven,
Though it's audaciously stern,
I believe i can break through it,
Not by power, I tell myself not by might,
I've got nothing to fear for God is my strength.

Tenaciously moving,
Not strained nor agitated but still aiming,
It's a fight to the end for the prize of the upward calling,
Nothing moves me now for I know God is watching.
