A Memory Of My Failure Poem by DILIPBHASKER MATHRA

A Memory Of My Failure

Your memory sneaked in me
While I was reposing in a
Morbid and pensive mood
Under dark sycamore
With the quiet of the Sky.
I was not alone once
But since your departure
Wild seclusion hunting me
Like a hare,
While in dreadful misfortune.
I tumbled in the snare
To escape from that cruel fate.
Fatigue feelings fastened my nerves
As in the past – In my oblivion
Once again I behold your longing eyes
Deepened in sad perplexity.
A mournful story of failure,
A sacrifice for the sake of uncertainty,
A ruin of life,
Your anger was over my inability.
My sorrow was my helplessness
To rescue you from the dark
Where you are shut forever.
