Happy Children



We are children
We are happy
Happy in this world
But not so happier
Than the butterflies
Fly among the flowers.
We are children
We are happy
Happy in this world
But not so happier
Than the Stars
Lighting tiny lamps
In the Sky.
We are children
We are happy
Happier in this world
But not so happier
Than the babies
Asleep in their mothers’ lap.
