A Man, A Father, A Dad Poem by Sarita Milliner

A Man, A Father, A Dad

God created you in his image, and breathed life into your lungs,
He provided you with a help mate, to bring forth your many young.
He equipped you with the right tools, to help you along the way,
He gave you dominion over many things, to share with whom you may.

God created you in his image, and molded you out of clay,
He worked many miracles, and completed them all in a day.
He placed in you a heart of gold, that is loving, gentle and kind,
He carved a path for you to follow, made strictly by design.

God created you in his image, into the person you are today,
He filled you with the strength to lead, never to go astray.
He was pleased with his creation, fashioned by his mighty hands,
His finished product is not an image; it’s a Man, a Father a Dad!
