A Lunatic's Emptiness Poem by David Boyd

A Lunatic's Emptiness

A chance to go away, A free trip to the end.
Let the psycho in me prepare to defend.
A lifeless deposit of sediment sorrow.
For I can find it in me to attempt to borrow.
A breath, before the last, prepare for what you've done.
A journey through your mind is nothing close to fun.

Ruin what you've awaken; Rumored to be true.
Before I ask this question, why are you feeling so blue?
Remorse for all your sins and actions with the course.
For I can find the answer with the correct force.
Stop, we've found the answer, we've reached the gate with no key.
So tell me all these secrets you keep away from me.

A timeless tomorrow, like to sin after death.
Inevitably you reply with each and every breath.
It's taken me nowhere, yet led me very far.
For I can silence all these voices that have taken you from par.
You know what should be done, you've done it oh so many times.
Should you be punished for all your crimes?

These voices please make them go away.
There existence is the difference, so there always gonna stay.
Im done with all these things you try to hide from me.
For you can tell me what to do, make me feel the glee.
I can't think to myself, because I always hear myself think.
Come on my friend let everything go in sync.

Silence all these creatures that have taken over my mind.
Teach me all your ways, let everything rewind.
I'm done with all the pills, they don't even work.
For you can teach them not to lurk.
Yet I sit so very still, still broken and alone.
Since you've given up on me they've perched atop their throne.
