A Loveless Life. Poem by Crystal Hayes

A Loveless Life.

Rating: 4.0

A loveless life.

She just watched as they all passed by.
Not really looking for anyone in particular.
Though she spotted him.
He was beautiful, in every way.
She tried to get his attention.
He never noticed.
Did he even care?
He was perfect.
Too good for her.
She still tried.
Tried so hard to get his love.
Though he would never give it.
What would you do if all you wanted,
You could never get.
What would you do if you couldn’t find love?
You didn’t deserve it…
Imagine a loveless life.
Would you still try?

This is beter than the last. This is prose and I believe it was written better as well. I recommend this one. GW62

That's life, kid. We all learn about it sometime, mainly because we have to, not because we want to.
