A Love To Smother Me Poem by scarlet murderess

A Love To Smother Me

i dream of love to let down my pride
a love that waits… patiently waits.
a love that understands,
even without reasons.
a love that’ll let go,
no matter how tight it grasps you.

i dream of love to smother me
a love so perfect,
i would love imperfections.
a love so great,
i would forgive much.

i dream of love to violate life
a love that knows no rules,
a love that feels no pain nor bruise…
i dream of it, it crawls me in my sleep.
i dream of it,
i never stopped dreaming of it.

i dream of love that will teach me
how to forgive, forget and accept…
so then I’d see myself drawn to love
loving as long as I know how to live
forgiving as long as I know how to love…
i dream of love that will eat me alive.
