A Love That Will Not End Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Love That Will Not End

Rating: 5.0

In the silent nights
Of sad remembrance,
I feel your shadow,
Closely, by
And a desperate wind
Of cold, surrender
Chills my heart
Making me cry.

Time has passed
Making, no better
So the endless
Question,
"Why"
How short our
Love and Life
Together,
Smoldering ashes
That refuse
To die!

And the pain embraces,
Strongly,
And my space starts
To close in
As I know,
I'll love you only
Life was not for us
To win.

Stanza THREE and last stanza: from the poem A LOVE THAT WILL NOT END And the pain embraces, Strongly, And my space starts To close in As I know, I'll love you only Life was not for us To win.............................WHY not TRY to WIN, dear Poetess! Very easy to say by a reader like me, but YOU have to DO that. you know as the best WHY this love will not end and WHY life was not for us to win

Stanza TWO: Time has passed Making, no better So the endless Question, " Why" How short our Love and Life Together, Smoldering ashes That refuse To die! Indeed, FIRE dies at once, but SMOLDERING ASHES are constantly " alive" Impressing second stanza, true love ever experienced and felt, shall constantly live on inside, and from time to time awakens and comes to be alive again. Mesmerizing and sensitive second stanza, dear Sandra
