A Love Poem To Myself Poem by Bree Z Love

A Love Poem To Myself

Rating: 5.0

Some may consider it vanity.
Give me the eye like death.
Because, I say it out loud.

As, I am a citizen; free in the city.
On a lane called, Loving Self.
Before, I would whisper it, kept as
A secret but, Now!

I say it on purpose and loud; so others will not belittle me.
I Love Me, for life and beyond death.
Because, I'll still be with me with my sparkling crown.

I'll take care of me; when I am down.
I'll take care of me, when there is no one to be found.
In a crowd or in a whisper to myself.
In loving me it is magical and will continue beyond death.
