A Lonely Matter. Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Lonely Matter.

Rating: 5.0

So alone,
That not even Dawn,
Brings light
To the matter,
A volatile scavenger
Flew by,
Taking with it
All hope,
In this matter
For loneliness
Is a drone
That slowly
Produces,
Disintegration,
Of body and soul
And, also,
Of much
Of your grey matter.

True loneliness sucks. Well woven poetic expression. Nicely framed and presented. Good one.
