There is a place within that always waits
For sunshine, knowing rain at last abates.
Everything recalls from whence it sprang;
As the songbird’s joy, when first it sang.
A little bit of ice inside the storm;
A hint of parents in the newly born.
The seed of love implanted at first sight,
To blossom fullblown, tender loving light.
Embedded in each tear the whole of grief;
All our ends twined round one falling leaf.
As brother unto brother does incline;
A little bit of sun in me still shines.
just lovely... really appreciate the thoughtfulness, the metaphors, the beauty... thank you.
lovely truth and very well expressed...and that sunshine takes us along even through the gloomiest times
