A Line Of Lovers Is Not A Tall Order Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Line Of Lovers Is Not A Tall Order

when the heart calls watch your step avoid the fall
when the heart calls stand up proud stand up tall
but I am not very tall this is lucky if heart has a fall
I do not fall as hard or as far as all the unlucky tall
now it is time to leave a line of lovers came to call

on the short side love is a tall order is it too tall?
'With the heart the shorter you are the harder you fall
cause you are too short to see alternative women 'tall'
so you commit to the first one you see 'thinking small'
so when it does not work out you fall hard' for a fall

the truth is we fall with the heart not the legs short tall

Lovely stuff. I love the play on short tall and the satire. Matters of the heart have no formula. I fell for my missus when i was eighteen she fifteen and we are still measuring each others height 38 years later. Then again these African girls mix some love portions so you can never leave. Its a joke. It was love at first sight....wink!

Yes when heart calls do listen But if still you fail to make a difference Just give time. Line 7 through 10 with conservative heart you fail to view the vastness of beauty. And sometimes conservation of heart is all because we fail to see it's existence.
