Deeper and deeper I go in thought;
Over and over my life is caught;
caught in the act my heart detests;
Not anymore, my mind protests.

I'm not to cry over spilled milk;
This heart should not soften like silk;
I need to keep my head above the sea;
And flaunt my courage for the world to see.

Knight nor man shall I bow before;
Coz I know I could be so much more;
That is the promise of God to me;
I shall be what I want to be...
