A Journey..
Two hearts travelled, parallel in life,
Though, several nights and days came and gone.
You and I remained alone, though people came and gone,
And the caravan of life moved on.
Reached several milestones and kept proceeding,
When looked back at the journey, saw the mist and smoke.
Did not find someone, to talk out my heart,
My thought remained in my heart and the heart in darkness.

दो दिलों के फ़ासलों को उम्र भर जलना पड़ा
रात आयी और गई दिन आया और गया
तुम अकेले भीड़ में मै भी अकेला भीड़ में
लोग आये और गए कारवां चलता गया
मंज़िलें मिलती गई और हौसले बढ़ते गए
मुड़ के जब पीछे को देखा धुंध और धुंआ मिला
यूँ तो अक्सर बात करने को न कोई भी मिला
राज़ दिल में ही रहा और दिल अंधेरों में रहा
