A Job Alone Poem by Phil Soar

A Job Alone

Rating: 5.0

I took a job far out to sea
Where no-one else would bother me
And though I shone a light afar
And left my windows all ajar
My solitude was seldom breached
And not a soul had ever reached
The place I kept that shining light
Aglow all day and through the night

A thought-provoking rendition in verse with rhythmic splendour. A beautiful work of art.
