It seems I didn't love you enough
the way you crept out of my life

It seems you weren't meant to be mine
this is how you forgot me

It seems you never carried any pain
which is why you erased my name

It seems I held no meaning for you
that's why my questions were left unanswered

It seems you can colour your days again
which is why you were never in black and grey

It seems you didn't believe in love
they way you tore the rose petals apart

It seems I dreamt all dreams alone
which is why you broke them so easily

It seems you are lost in the cheers and brightness of future
the way you darkened my nights and days dull

It seems you still think high of yourself
which is why you can't feel what I am going through

It seems your heart is stoned and dead
the way you have broken mine into a million pieces

It seems I still see you in my life
that is why I act as if I am you

It seems nothing affects your heartless heart
the way you let me walk alone in a cold night

It seems I will carry your heartless heart in my heart
