A Happy Lie Poem by Amenti Alexander

A Happy Lie

It's only me here.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Milleniums.
How many lies will it take to break the ice that covers my heart?
The lies are hollow but happy.
Blind me with fantasy!
Kill me with truth.
