A Halloween Meant For Fun Poem by Katherine Perry

A Halloween Meant For Fun

Rating: 4.0

The sun fades into a darkened sky
And the moon greets the night
The winds in the trees and the owl's cry
Makeing way for an evening of fright

For it's Halloween and the nights begun
Under the clouds that have darkened the
sky above
Family and friends all having fun
Collecting candy of all sorts just because

Ghosts and goblins, blood and gore
All lined up at your front door
Waiting for a trick or waiting for a treat
And some will wait just to ask for more

Is this a night that represents evil
Or is it just an excuse to play and pretend
The night you'll see costumes on all kinds
of people
And lots and lots of children with faces of
grins

So just look the other way
When you see faces filled with disgust
For they just simply do not know how to have
fun
There probably the one's who sit around
while their bible collects dust
Because their mouth is the only thing that
runs!
