A Haiku Is A Haiku Is A Haiku Is A Haiku..... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

A Haiku Is A Haiku Is A Haiku Is A Haiku.....

Rating: 5.0

A Haiku is a haiku is a haiku is a haiku.....

A Haiku is a haiku is a haiku is a haiku
Is a Haiku Is a haiku in heaven and on earth

Born as haiku in ancient Japan, baby birth
Then toddler, teener and mature

Being an adult is a great pleasure
Poets from all over the world admire haiku

It stops growing since being an adult is end-station
In haiku-life, but poets, great poets love writing a haiku

The greater the poets the simpler the words and style
Conclusion haiku is a great poetic style in short poetic beauty

Based upon its simplicity, vision of life, and beauty
and Inspired by Mount Fuji

many haikus are found amongst the gemstones,
a true jewel to read a haiku,

great poets find the greatest pleasure to create a haiku
as well as reading one
and.....they have the shortest pun
since haiku is a 17 syllables verse,

with the shortest pun,
poets will have the longest fun

A Haiku is a haiku Is a Haiku Is a haiku

Another exceptional haiku to discover
by an ardent haiku lover

I like Haiku since it usually features intense emotion or a vivid image of nature. It maybe simple yet it requires careful choices of words to create an impact.

Again, I like how you crafted this poem, my friend . The rhythm and flow of words are just amazing. The recurring words and spontaneity of this write will fuel the mind of a reader who loves Poetry to try and explore this poetic form.

Matsou Basho would have been so happy to read this wonderful poem of the great Poetess. It is like a star on top of Mt. Fuji. I love haiku too. If it is cleverly written, it can tickle the mind, evokes thoughts to ponder about.
