'A Good Morning' (From The Emirates) Poem by Shongminthang Haokip

'A Good Morning' (From The Emirates)

Rating: 3.5

Early morning, cool and calm
Jaunting to the palm island
Traverse the city of Dubai
Glinted the road by the wayside lamps
Freshens mind to the peacefulness

The half moon still hanging
Over the sky-high Burl Khalifa
Glimmering on the pavement lawn
Lovely is the moonlight, twinge my heart
Repatriate mind to beloved's home

Way besides the miracle garden
Seeing the freshness on the woods
Dancing is the green leafy branches
Relief mind from the worldly burdensome

The gladness the couple birds
Fondling with a mellow peck
Flittering between branches
And a rhymes of rejoices in the air
Echoed heart with a lovely tune

Discern to the soulful dawn
Dejected is the spell of lapse
Delighted is the daily in seasonal
A beautiful sunshine never fails
To nourish my euphoric sense of
freedom.

Nature's good morning to you!
As we inhale the good morning air.
