A Good Deed Or Two Every Day Poem by Francis Duggan

A Good Deed Or Two Every Day

In a Human World where many must lose for a few for to win
For a better World for all to live in
You have some part to play with yourself you begin
By becoming a better person the power to do good comes from within
For to receive good Karma you must plant the good seed
By helping anyone of your helping in need
If you dismiss them as unworthy the financially down
You are not an asset to your side of the town
Those of kindness and compassion may not be a plentiful breed
But they are the best of good people indeed
Of applause they are well worthy of an encore
Of their sort humanity is in need of more
In a better World for all to live in you have your own part to play
By performing a good deed or two every day.
