A Girl's Hope Poem by Paul Prescott

When you left me,
My heart broke like shattered glass,
You left me in the empty sea,
With no strength or no hope to breath

I loved you with all my heart,
Now I’m crying in tears like there’s no tomorrow,
In my lonely world were now apart,
Just a broken girl with a broken life

Maybe it’s me? I don’t know,
I’m just a girl in tears,
With the feeling of coldness inside,
I must be strong and go
