A Gardens Touch Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A Gardens Touch

Such a wonderful contrast of colours,
Beneath the bright sun as it shone,
upon the soft butterfly wings as they moved,
And those afternoon moments moved on.

So the bees and the butterflies mingled,
And the birds sang their tunes from the trees,
In the heat of the afternoon sunshine,
I was suddenly met by a breeze.

The leaves on the trees softly quivered,
So gently they danced in the sun,
If i could choose a favourite place,
This is surely my number one.

For a garden holds, such pleasant things,
Where nature and beauty combines,
Where fragrant aromas surround you,
A haven that's one of a kind.
