A Frozen Scene Poem by Phil Soar

A Frozen Scene

A frozen scene as the morning wakes
With a hint of more from falling flakes
As snow begins to turn things white
The day starts fine, and I'm alright

A walk across a field so brisk
With just an element of risk
As careful steps begin at pace
And a cold white breeze engulfs my face

The earth so crisp beneath my feet
As hard as any cold concrete
And whilst I walk my time away
I wish there was no end today
