A Friendship I Could Only Wish For
So much changed in my life
But you made everything seem alright
You made me smile and laugh
When I felt like giving up
You helped me in so many ways
Yet you never knew
Then before I could realize
I began to fall for you
You laughed and thought it was a joke
Hurting me inside
Yet I let it go
You said we'd stay friends
Now you don't even say hello
I see you everyday
Wishing things would change
Yet with everything
I'm still happy
Happy that I met you
Even if you can see the pain I feel
Thank-you for showing me a friendship
I could only wish was real

Wow nicely written, It's hard to tell sometimes when you like someone and they don't feel the same way back. Maybe they liked you they were just to scared you didn't feel the same way. It sucks when you like someone and they don't like you back. You wait for them even when their with someone else. But after that they finally realise they like you and yet you moved on.
